Many years have passed and a lot of parties have got elected and gone. But they did nothing but give false promises and hopes for the ordinary people living near the sea. Once high tide hits during the monsoon all the houses gets flooded and they all have to move away from there. A simple stone structure to prevent the water from flowing into the settlement is the only thing that they ask. Remember during the flood of 2018 that shook Kerala only these fishermen were there for our rescue without even thinking twice they came up with their boats for our rescue and they would do it again if the situation demands it.
