Mullaperiyar, a dam in Kerala, that was built during British colonial period with an expected life of 50 years, is at it's worst condition and now reached its 126th year. If something happens to the dam, around 40lakh people will loose their lives. Therefore, it is an application to decommission the dam as soon as possible.
