Animal cruelty is all around us, and happens everyday.  What happens to these animals is sad on its own, but whats even sadder is that the culprits behind this heinous crime are not convicted, as animal cruelty is not considered a felony. With studies showing that cruelty to animals is a common serial killer behavior trait, and the countless accounts of neglect and abuse daily in the U.S., proper justice needs to be served.
