Thanks for contacting my office about the Dixie debacle. I have been involved and have repeatedly called, emailed and visited the KYTC office for answers. I will be meeting today with KYTC along with fellow council members Yates and Blackwell as well as State Rep Charlie Miller, Senators Dan Suem and Dennis Parret. This issue has been mishandled since it began in 2015. There were some major utility issues but for the contractor to just stop working putting his efforts elsewhere while the barricades and cones remain in place is beyond belief. I hope we will get the answers we seek this afternoon. I will post something on my web page after the meeting and there will be a press conference forth coming either late this afternoon or tomorrow from KYTC. I know this has been such a hardship on the people of VS and PRP not to mention anyone who drives through from neighboring counties. Thanks again, Cindi
