Second Chance: Steven Combs

Second Chance: Steven Combs

The Issue

Please help this man get a second chance. He spent 15 years in jail starting at the age of 17 and served his time. He was then let out on probation until 2020 and put into a treatment program. After being out for a couple months, all he could think about was being with his family. Being a teenager and having to leave his family at such a young age, he just wanted that time back and staying in a treatment program was keeping him from them. So he left the treatment program in January 2018 to be with them. Yes, it was wrong and he knows he was wrong. He wasn't into drugs or committing crimes. He got a job, a house and became a hard working citizen. He just wants the chance to live his life and make a future with his fiance. He was arrested in July for leaving the treatment program and hasn't been given a chance to go before the Parole Board to tell his side. Yes, he violated his parole but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be given the chance to speak. He has been in for a month now and nothing has happened. As his family, all we ask is for his voice to be heard and given a second chance to do what's right. So please help us by signing this petition and getting him that chance. Thank you all!
