A change to multifamily housing in bridges pud will have negative impact on the community of Lea Hill in Auburn and the environment. The wetland buffers are 150 feet today but the developer wants to put in multifamily density within 25 feet under questionable vesting protection. Kent is trying to help grandfather in 17 year old practices.  Auburn tax payers bear the burden on their roads and parks while Kent collects the impact fees. We emplore the Kent City Council to treat it's Auburn neighbors as it would like to be treated if the tables were turned. Deny the amendment and rezoning and let the developer plan something that abides with current zoning and environmental best practices of 2021, not 2004! We need responsible land management! Help Auburn annex the bridges and let them make the decisions that impact their city.
