Kent's winter months are brutal, and the campus experiences multiple feet of snow every year. The problem is that it appears that absolutely nothing is done to clear the snow or make sidewalks and roadways safer for the students and faculty. Several people are hurt annually just walking to and from different on-campus buildings or to their cars. Something needs to be done about this safety issue, and Kent State University's campus maintenance needs to ensure the safety of the university's students and staff.
