Kent State University graciously provides its students with The Recreation and Wellness Center on campus for the health and use of its students and staff. The only problem is you have to pay to use it. ($45 per semester or $70 for the year) The Rec Center should be free to all students and staff because it encourages an active lifestyle, provides services for student athletes and fosters a community and attitude of motion in an age of technology and sedentary lifestyles. 

I have created this petition in order to persuade Kent State University to change this policy and allow all students and staff to use The Rec Center for free.  Not only would it encourage students to partake in a more active lifestyle as I mentioned in paragraph1, it would allow those who do not have an extra $70 to spend to use The Rec Center like they want to.
