KSD 2020 Graduation Ceremony Petition

KSD 2020 Graduation Ceremony Petition
The Issue
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the class of 2020 has limited options in terms of celebrating years of hard work and dedication for their academic careers. In a virtual meeting, KSD's superintendent Calvin J. Watts has expressed that an in-person ceremony is not an option. Instead, students will have the option for possibly a dual graduation (assuming) with the class of 2021 or an online ceremony.
The class of 2020 implores the superintendent to reconsider postponing or rescheduling the ceremony to a later date within this year. Many students have expressed their concerns and disdain for the options given by the superintendent and this petition will show that the class of 2020 looks forward to graduating in person, NOT through their computer screen.
Please sign and spread this petition to all KSD students, senior or not, family members, and anyone else who wishes to support the class of 2020.
