Albie & his brother Frankie were stolen by my ex partner on 3rd may 2015. Frankie returned dazed and confused, Albie was released somewhere which was never disclosed so he never returned home nor could I find him. Despite my ex having sent a text message a week previously saying he would take the cats, police have done little about it except fob me off. Tragically Albie was found deceased 24 days later on the side of a motorway, having been hit by a vehicle 5-7 days earlier. Albie would still be alive if the police had taken my allegations seriously and used their powers and resources to find my ex on the night of Albie's disappearance. To think Albie searched and searched for his home for over 2 weeks and never made it home because one selfish man did not like being ignored and so chose to hurt a poor defenceless animal as he knew that would hurt me, so poor Albie died tired, hungry exhausted & feeling lonely. Now the police say they do not have enough evidence to take the matter any further as he has said when he wrote in a text message he would "pick up Frank & Alby and take them far away" that he was talking about his friends, yet these friends do not exist. This is a man with a violent past and a history of theft, why when they have evidence can they not bring charges and let him be tried in a court? I need to get as much support as possible to go back to the police and insist they charge him with The theft of Albie in an attempt to get Justice for Albie, a beautiful innocent dearly loved pet and it will also help to stop the police rubbishing and fobbing other people off with the line about cats being free spirts not property as they did with me in the beginning when I reported Albie as stolen. I am determined to not let this go, Please support me in my fight to get Justice for Albie.
