Kent County Council have served notice to relocate an ancient public footpath walked and enjoyed by many, to enable the expansion of a quarry site operated by Gallagher.

The intended area is a beautiful open space of many acres, that resides beside an ever-expanding quarry. Many rare and endangered species of insects and adders have been found here by local wild life groups. The impact of the gradual 'Blaise Farm Quarry' expansion will be significant, affecting many local residents, walkers and above all, the protected wildlife that is in all of our interests to preserve.
