For a long time the zebra crossing at the junction of Park Rd and The Brent has been dangerous. Today there was another near miss with a child crossing on a bike and another car overtaking the stopped vehicle, narrowly missing the child 

The zebra crossing is too close to the roundabout. Coming from The Brent turning left along Park Road it is actually invisible until the turn is made and you are almost at the crossing.

Park Road and The Brent are busy roads both leading towards the M25 and Dartford Tunnel. They are always busy and the shops along the The Brent are used frequently by locals 

We at Dartford Safer Roads would like to see the crossing moved further along Park Road. At the moment it is unsafe and cant be seen by drivers.
