Jacob Blake—a father, a son, an uncle, and a brother—was shot 7 times in the back on Sunday by Police Officer Rusten Sheskey. Blake is suffering serious injuries such as paralysis of the lower half of his body, other bodily injuries yet to be known, not including the psychological problems he will face further down the road in his recovery. Officer Sheskey should be charged for his heinous and racist crime.
Another Black life could have been lost. Thankfully, he is alive, but no justice means no peace.
