Hello All,

Now that COP 26 is over we thought we would share a few headlines.  The progress that was made was quite underwhelming, unlike the big changes we expected to happen. One of the exceptions, we thought, was the pledge made by more than 100 world leaders to stop and reverse deforestation by 2030. Together they represent over 85 per cent of the world's forests and have promised to stop and reverse deforestation and land degradation. After being supported by €16.5 billion, it is set to become the biggest effort ever made to protect the planet's forests. This means that Kellogg's and other companies will need to look at changes to their supply chains and investment.

There were also promise to tackle climate change through restoring landscapes and transforming  agricultural systems via billions promised.

However, despite the good news, climate activists have warned that this might not be enough to keep global warming below 1.5C and have doubted world leaders’ commitments to make real changes on the ground.

With all this in mind, it is time for us - the civilians, companies (including Kellogg's), and governments of the world to make this change.

We would also love to hear what you think too as well as any ideas to move our campaign forward.

Stay safe,

Jia, Asha & Harvinder.
