As a resident of Bloxwich, and serving as a Local Councillor for Bloxwich West, I am concerned to hear of proposals to close both fire stations overnight. I believe this raises serious concerns about the safety of our communities.

These fire stations are not just facilities, they are lifelines. The proposal to limit their operations to daytime only, fails to address the reality that emergencies happen at any time, and often do, during the overnight hours.

I am calling for Bloxwich Fire Station and Willenhall Fire Station to remain fully operational overnight.

When residents call 999 in the middle of the night, they need to know that firefighters are available to respond. Fire emergency cover must not be reduced at the expense of public safety.

I am calling on the fire service to:

*Keep Willenhall Fire Station open overnight.
*Keep Bloxwich Fire Station open overnight.

Please sign this petition and help us protect our homes and families by ensuring the Willenhall and Bloxwich fire stations remain open overnight.
