As concerned parents of children at Whitehill School, we are deeply worried about the decision to become part of Trinity Multi-Academy Trust. This decision has already resulted in the loss of our valued head teacher and the impact of instability is already noticeable.

Whitehill School is an inclusive community school that values each child’s individuality over academic status. Becoming a part of Trinity Academy risks changing these values and turning our school into just another institution.

Furthermore, significant staffing changes could occur as a result of this decision, which would be detrimental to our children and the stability of their education. We cannot risk losing experienced teachers who have built strong relationships with our children.

We urge the governing body to reconsider this decision and keep Whitehill School free from control of Trinity MAT.

Our school has been successful for many years without being part of Trinity MAT and we believe it should remain that way.
