This is the meeting we’ve been waiting for.

The Barrington 220 School Board is holding a special meeting tonight, Monday, Dec. 23 at 5:15 p.m. devoted to ONE TOPIC to reconsider the contract to purchase the four properties at 502, 506, and 510 W. Main Street and 112 N. Hager Avenue.

We know this meeting falls just days before Christmas, and we understand how busy everyone’s schedules are. Because of that, we want to be clear: this meeting truly matters.

If you oppose demolishing residential homes for a parking lot, please attend.Even if you do not speak, your presence matters. A full room sends a clear message:

Do not buy these homes. Do not rezone Walnut Grove. Choose better options instead.
