The Issue

Last Monday, (Keomanivone Phrommany)  was detained by ICE. Since then, he has been moved to three different detention facilities with minimal communication and almost no clarity. The pain, confusion, and helplessness have been unimaginable.

Let me be very clear: he is not a criminal. He is not a threat. He is the exact kind of person any country would be lucky to have. He has been a Doctor of Physical Therapy for over 23 years, helping countless patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. His dedication to his profession and his community is undeniable.

Vone came to this country with hopes and dreams, just like countless others. Has all of his paperwork & done everything required & legally for years & years! He has built a life here, contributing positively every day. His family, his friends, and the patients he has helped, can all testify to his character and integrity.

The current immigration system has cast a net too wide, unjustly capturing individuals like Vone, who deserve nothing but respect and gratitude for their contributions. Detaining him and threatening his deportation go against the values of fairness and justice that America stands for.

According to the American Immigration Council, around 10% of immigrants are detained each year, most of whom pose no threat to national security or public safety. Vone is one of those innocent individuals caught in an unfair system.

I urge you to sign this petition to demand his immediate release and allow him to remain in the country he calls home. Help us keep Vone home and reunite him with his loved ones. Every signature brings us one step closer to justice for Vone and others like him. Sign and share this petition now to make a difference.
