Dear Supporters, There are two aldermen who have offered to submit the paperwork to get the discussion started on writing a hoop house ordinance; but they will absolutely not commit to supporting the idea, leaving us with the clear understanding that there is obviously an agenda to ban hoop houses through ordinance. Aside from these two aldermen, there are no other aldermen on the 14-member council who will speak with us about it, or who are willing to move the process along. Sustain DuPage, an environmental not-for-profit, came out to find out more about our hoop house, and get some video that could educate those in DuPage county about what hoop houses are and how they function. They did a great job. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g50UsCjXP_0&t=41s We are deeply concerned about the unwillingness of government to support our property rights, it's primary job. Please continue to support us by in the following ways. 1) If you are local, please attend the next City Council meeting and be willing to speak about how the City Council needs to take up this issue immediately. The people have spoken; the government needs to respond. 2) Please send the video around to as many of your friends as possible. The more people who know about our case, the better chance we stand. Thank you all for your time and support. Nicole & Crew
