We urge you to pay close attention to these presentations and read the documents in the corresponding links. If possible, attend the City Council workshop but please be aware that during a workshop THE PUBLIC IS NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK OR ASK QUESTIONS and can only observe and listen. Currently on the October 22, 2024 City of Glendale Council meeting agenda, there is no item regarding Velma Teague Library and thus we strongly urge you to attend this meeting in person, fill out a blue card to speak during Citizens Comments/Call To The Public portion of the meeting, and speak to the city council as to why Velma Teague Library should be renovated and updated where it stands, in the center of Murphy Park, and not demolished and moved to another location. You will have 3 minutes to speak. Remember to respect and follow the public comment rules as our goal is to be heard and not to be silenced for violations of any city council meeting rules.
