DUWO is restricting building access for tenants in its Carolina Macgillavrylaan residence for AUC students, preventing students from accessing strings and communities throughout the building freely beyond where their apartment is located. Not only does this fail to improve security, but it prevents people from gathering freely in the dorms and could provide a safety hazard in the event of evacuation. There are greater issues that need to be addressed by DUWO, and restricting the freedoms of students whilst ignoring our requests for basic quality-of-life improvements is a blatant disregard for DUWO's responsibility to care for their tenants.
