The Issue

Students at TCU love having Chick-fil-A right there on campus. But there's a big problem. Right now, TCU's Chick-fil-A is run by Sodexo, the company that handles most of the campus food. That's different from almost every other Chick-fil-A in the country, which is run by something called an Owner Operator.

An Owner Operator is a person who owns and runs that one specific Chick-fil-A. They treat it like their own business, because it really is theirs. They train the workers themselves, know the menu inside and out, and make sure everything feels like real Chick-fil-A, not a cafeteria copy of it.

TCU and Sodexo don't want to switch to an Owner Operator. And because of that, there's a real chance TCU could lose its Chick-fil-A completely. If the current setup doesn't work out, TCU might decide to shut it down instead of bringing in an Owner Operator to fix it.

Supporters of this petition believe TCU students, staff, and visitors deserve to keep their Chick-fil-A, and they deserve the real version of it. They're asking TCU and Sodexo to work with Chick-fil-A to bring in an Owner Operator so the campus location can stay open and finally be run the way Chick-fil-A is supposed to be run.

Everyone who wants to keep Chick-fil-A on campus is asked to sign this petition. The more signatures, the stronger the message to TCU.
