Dear students,

Wednesday 16th of November, we have all received an e-mail from the Executive Board of Maastricht University stating that the Tapijn Learning Spaces will close indefinitely, staying open only during exam season between 11:00 – 18:30. The Learning Spaces welcome hundreds of students every week, offering them a familiar and silent space to study or to work on projects. Regarding the limited public study spaces that the city of Maastricht along with Maastricht University have to offer, it is indeed crucial to keep the Learning Spaces available for students to utilise.
