Keep The Swans at Lake Eola

Keep The Swans at Lake Eola
The Issue
Where do the Lake Eola Swans go now?
Im being selfish, but unfortunately this isn't a Disney Movie Happy Ending for some of our Swans. Some of them literally had their wings pinioned, which means a bird that has been rendered permanently flightless through the surgical removal of the pinion joint clipped and wont ever be able to fly again.
So now we are to think they go to this magical place where they are respected, named, hand fed, or provided feeders, and are able to fly away from predators at their new location? Also where will this location be?
Most people know you don't release domesticated pets into the wild and unfortunately those swans at Lake Eola are used to people now and are pets of the City of Orlando. We shouldn't think its cool to now take those "pets" and just dump them somewhere so they are out of sight out of mind. I know the City of Orlando isn't happy about all the press coverage the Avian Flu deaths caused, but there has to be a better way than just trying to sweep all the swans under the rug and remove them form their home at Lake Eola.
Will the Public ever know where these swans are going? Can the city just reduce the population of swans? Or getting rid of them is the best option?
If you feel the City of Orlando shouldn't just dump their pets, please sign and share to try and Keep the Swans at their Home.
