We, the undersigned, represent patrons and vendors of the Sebastopol Farmers Market. 

Our community is devastated that we might have to close our expanded market in the West America parking lot. We strongly support the market's expansion into the West America Bank parking lot and are thrilled to have more space where we can gather as families, business owners, and a community.

Having more dedicated space where we can gather, prepare food, and celebrate the work of local farmers and artisans contributes to a more vibrant downtown Sebastopol, and benefits everyone in our community – including local shops and businesses.

In the past, incoming car traffic to the West America Bank parking lot ATM has been dangerous to customers and pedestrians. We believe it’s worth prioritizing a more walkable downtown, that is safer for pedestrians to mingle at the market and socialize with members of our community. Currently, downtown guests and patrons can access parking within at least three blocks of the Sebastopol Town Square for the few hours we have market once per week.

We urge West America Bank to join us in creating a more vibrant community center in Sebastopol by allowing the market to continue operations in your parking lot. 

Let's keep the Sebastopol Farmers Market safer for pedestrians and contribute to a walkable downtown!
