Re: Support for Boris and Tatiana Vilenchuk - Russian Learning Center of Columbus, OH
We, the undersigned parents, students, and community members of Franklin County and beyond, are writing to express our urgent support for the Learning Center and Romashka Euro Deli located at 2400 W Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43235. For 25 years, this institution has been a cornerstone of the Russian-speaking community and a vital cultural asset to Columbus.
The sudden closure and boarding up of this building has caused immediate distress to our children. This is more than a business; it is a Learning Center where our children receive musical, artistic, and cultural education. Many of us have witnessed the annual inspections and the prominent signage that has been displayed publicly for over two decades. It is devastating to hear that the city claims "lack of knowledge" regarding the building’s use after 25 years of transparent operation.
We respectfully urge the court to allow the doors to be unboarded and the business to remain open while any administrative or registration updates are resolved. Closing this center mid-semester deprives our children of their education and their community "safe haven."
Sincerely,
the Parents and Students of the Russian Center.
