Sony just announced part of their celebration for PlayStation's 30th Anniversary, which is on 12/03/2024.

Part of the celebration, announced on 12/02/2024, includes new PlayStation 5 UI themes referencing every previous PlayStation generation from PS1-PS4. Additionally, the boot up of the PlayStation 5 can be customized to feature the original PlayStation boot up, with the nostalgic sound that we all love.

Obviously this feature is welcomed and adored by all who appreciate the greatness that PlayStation has brought into their homes the past 30 years. However, the only issue is that this has been advertised as a limited-time feature..

I believe I speak for most of us when I say that Sony should keep this permanent. This is a huge milestone for Sony and it only makes sense to let us bask in the nostalgia of PlayStation's history. If this doesn't affect console functionality, there seems to be no reason to remove this feature. We all love PlayStation and want to celebrate without limits. Many of us are busy and do not have time to appreciate it as much as we would like to.

Please consider signing this petition and hopefully Sony will take notice and consider leaving this feature on our consoles permanently. Thank you for time.
