The UK government risks becoming an international pariah.  This crisis affects everyone:

• It may lead to a trade war between Britain, Europe and beyond.
• It will lead to a decline in our reputation as a world leader due to breaking international law.
• It threatens to take us back to 1970's and endangers peace in Northern Ireland.

We ask that the Northern Ireland Protocol be respected by the UK government and for democracy to be restored to Stormont.  The protocol is working socially, economically, politically and in other ways.  A majority of parties and people are happy with the arrangements.  

Current threats to break the protocol are mainly because of incompetence by Boris Johnson.  The island of Ireland must not become another casualty of Johnson.  We don't need a "Bridge Over Doubled Borders".  What we do need is the restoration of Stormont and a recognition that “Brexit is done”.  Politicians must “Make the island of Ireland work’.
