This is a petition to save the Monastery of Basilian Fathers, at 3100 Weston Road in Toronto and the Marian Shrine of Gratitude from being closed, we will be approaching the Holy Father Pope Francis to validate it in Rome. The Marian Shrine of Gratitude Is a little piece of Heaven in the city. A place where thousands have come and returned to the sacraments of the Catholic Church, many of whom have been away from the church for many years.

Open 24 hours thousands come to their Blessed Mother and our Lord and receive healing body soul and mind. It is a place of peace and healing, where people come to find refuge for a busy world and truly experience Christ through devotion and prayer.

The Marian Shrine of Gratitude has been an integral part of the community for over 13 years and is a home to thousands of pilgrims from Toronto and all across Canada and the world. It began with a healing of Father Basil Cembalista and now many have reported healing of soul and body: terminal illness, cancer, blindness, paralysis and both body and soul.

We need to keep this holy place open and validated by Rome.
