Keep the Looney Tunes shorts, Looney Tunes Show, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action on Max
The Issue
First it started with Coyote Vs. Acme, then Warner hits us with the news that Looney Tunes content is being pulled off of Max. Not only is this a slap in the face to the fans of the franchise, but a total disappointment for the characters themselves. Growing up, I used to love turning on the TV on Saturday mornings and watch the Looney Tunes characters do their usual antics. Then came The Looney Tunes Show, which was a modern but still comical turn on the franchise. The movie, Looney Tunes: Back in Action was ahead of its time and still holds up to this very day; so much so that it's equal in quality to Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Now with Max, accessing all of this content is easier than ever, especially some of the classic Looney Tunes shorts which aren't easily available in most places. To hear that Warner Bros is not only removing just the old shorts, but The Looney Tunes Show and Back in Action? They should be ashamed. Especially regarding The Looney Tunes Show as it regained popularity for its humor now that its original audience is grown up.
I am calling on Warner Bros to reverse their decision on pulling this Looney Tunes content from their streaming platform. It could prove harmful to them in the long run if they go through with this choice - both financial and supportive. Sign this petition to get Warner to see how much we all care for these characters!
