Our local Member of Parliament, Mr. Bruce Stanton is championing the Keewatin case and taking the issue to Federal Parliament.

MP Stanton will hold a real-time townhall about the state of The S.S. Keewatin Project on March 29 at 7:00 PM on his Facebook page. The event will be posted soon, but please mark your calendar now:

On behalf of all our volunteers, we would also like to offer our appreciation to Mayor Ted Walker and Tay Council for their unanimous support of a proposal to recognize the Keewatin as part of Tay Heritage. This change in status is important to giving provenance to the S.S.
