Following a nationwide protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the regime has once again cut off internet and communication services across the country. This deliberate blackout is not about security—it is about silencing the people, hiding human rights abuses, and enabling violence against civilians away from the eyes of the world.

Shutting down the internet is a known tactic of the Islamic Republic. It prevents families from checking on loved ones, stops journalists from reporting the truth, and blocks protesters from calling for help. History has shown that these blackouts are often followed by arrests, disappearances, and killings.

Access to the internet is not a luxury—it is a basic human right. Cutting communication during mass protests places innocent lives in immediate danger and allows crimes to be committed without accountability.

We, the undersigned, demand that:

Internet and communication services in Iran be immediately restored and protected
International organizations, governments, and the United Nations publicly condemn internet shutdowns in Iran
Technology companies and global institutions take action to prevent and bypass state-imposed blackouts
The voices of the Iranian people be heard without censorship, fear, or repression

پس از اعتراضات سراسری مردم علیه جمهوری اسلامی ایران، حکومت بار دیگر اینترنت و ارتباطات را در سراسر کشور قطع کرده است. این خاموشی عمدی به‌هیچ‌وجه برای امنیت نیست؛ بلکه برای خاموش کردن صدای مردم، پنهان کردن نقض حقوق بشر، و فراهم کردن زمینه خشونت علیه شهروندان بی‌گناه دور از چشم جهانیان است.

قطع اینترنت یکی از روش‌های شناخته‌شده جمهوری اسلامی برای سرکوب است. این اقدام مانع ارتباط خانواده‌ها با عزیزانشان می‌شود، خبرنگاران را از گزارش حقیقت بازمی‌دارد و راه کمک‌خواهی معترضان را مسدود می‌کند. تجربه‌های گذشته نشان داده که این خاموشی‌ها اغلب با بازداشت، ناپدیدسازی و کشتار مردم همراه بوده است.

دسترسی به اینترنت یک امتیاز نیست؛ بلکه یک حق بنیادین انسانی است. قطع ارتباطات در زمان اعتراضات مردمی، جان انسان‌های بی‌گناه را به‌طور مستقیم به خطر می‌اندازد و امکان ارتکاب جنایت بدون پاسخگویی را فراهم می‌کند.

ما امضاکنندگان این دادخواست خواستار آن هستیم که:

 

۱. اینترنت و خدمات ارتباطی در ایران فوراً و بدون قید و شرط برقرار و محافظت شود

۲. دولت‌ها، سازمان‌های بین‌المللی و سازمان ملل متحد قطع اینترنت در ایران را به‌طور علنی محکوم کنند

۳. شرکت‌های فناوری و نهادهای جهانی برای مقابله و دور زدن خاموشی‌های تحمیلی اقدام کنند

۴. صدای مردم ایران بدون سانسور، ترس و سرکوب به گوش جهان برسد

وقتی اینترنت قطع می‌شود، جهان در تاریکی فرو می‌رود—اما خشونت ادامه پیدا می‌کند.
