Since opening in 2024, our school community has developed a strong sense of stability and connection under the leadership of our current principal, Donia Elbakdadi. Parents and staff value the relationships, communication, and school culture that have been established during this time, and many families feel a strong sense of confidence in the current leadership arrangement.

The school community has recently become aware of a change in principal. Parents are concerned about this decision due to the limited information provided and the absence of meaningful consultation with families and staff. Many believe that continuity of leadership is important, particularly during the early years of a school’s development.

This petition represents a collective expression of parental preference for leadership continuity and for decision-making processes that are transparent, consultative, and aligned with the values and faith context of the school community.

Parents are seeking reassurance that governance decisions are being made with careful consideration of community input and the best interests of students. The sudden nature of the proposed change has raised questions that remain unanswered, and this petition is intended to respectfully request engagement, clarity, and dialogue.

We therefore urge the school board to reconsider the leadership change, or at minimum to pause and engage openly with the school community before proceeding. This petition reflects a desire for transparency, accountability, and respectful consultation.

If these concerns are not addressed, parents intend to pursue formal escalation through appropriate regulatory and governance channels.
