The issue
To the House of Representatives
Protect Australian creators by keeping the Copyright Act strong in the age of artificial intelligence. The people who create our music, books and stories should not be asked to subsidise foreign based technology companies with their life’s work.
Australian creators petition the government to:
- Prohibit AI developers from using unlicensed creative works
- Require AI developers to negotiate ongoing licenses with existing rights holders
- Seek reparative payments for past copyright infringements
