The Clarence river is mighty but, barely flowing. The communities and farms depend on its vital water. It is one of the last free flowing  rivers. Up the top, Copper and cobalt mining exploration licences have been approved , over peoples homes and businesses without community consultations. They are dependent on and lovers of the bushland that surrounds them . Concerns that it could  compromise the safety and quality of the water and availability for these projects and area for everyone have been denied .  Most of Australia is dry. Organic, dairy and seasonal farms supply food from this area. It flows to beautiful Yamba and the wrong decision could wreck everything forever. The residents have endured drought and fires, they have been told nothing is happening as mining vehicles rush in and out of the area and for some, everything and everyone they know could be gone forever . The pristine bushland of Ewingar state forest is suffering deforestation into significant geological,historical & aboriginal sites ,natural habitat to many rare plants and endangered animals . Right now, high intensity logging is occuring next to aincent  World heritage Washpool, the situation is urgent as old growth rainforest dissapears forever and climate concern becomes an international humanitarian  issue. This is not sustainable or fair and requires urgent action. Help please.
