Keep the Brookville Courthouse Nativity Scene

The Issue

A small faction based 400 miles away has decided that the courthouse nativity scene is unconstitutional and offensive.  We beg to differ.  The First Amendment guarantees freedom of exercise of religion, and there is no violation of, or intrusion on, the "separation of church and state" because, simply put, this phrase does not exist in the Constitution.  The people of Brookville desire to keep the tradition alive and continue displaying the nativity scene just as it is displayed now.  The signers of this petition agree that the nativity scene is a timeless tradition that will not be trampled on by the baseless, unconstitutional cries of the anti-religious.
