The AHA has decided to continue the use of the BLS Virtual Option after the original discontinuation date of August 31, 2023. It appears the ACLS & PALS Virtual Option may not be approved to be used after August 31, 2023.

Please keep sharing your request to the AHA that you want all 3 available in the Virtual Option, on a permanent basis, or you may lose the choice soon. 

Go to the AHA Form and share your thoughts on why it is important to keep this Virtual Option. Include your credentials so they know this includes all levels of healthcare providers (ie; MD/DO, RN, LPN, EMT, RRT, etc.). Be specific as to why you want this option available.
