My family was directly touched by this incident since my cousin was present during the horrific scene that unfolded due to a pointless confrontation over a vape. It was supposed to be a day of joy and excitement turned into a nightmare, and I am compelled to speak out and seek justice for those who cannot do so themselves.

On that fateful day, Thaiz, in a ruthless act of violence, ended the lives of three people, leaving a trail of destruction and grief. Among the victims were a 41-year-old adult, an 18-year-old participant in the gang confrontation, and most heart-wrenching of all, an innocent 8-month-old baby. But the devastation didn't stop there; two others were injured and are left with both physical and emotional scars.

This was not just a random act; it was a gang-related altercation at a community carnival where families should feel safe. The losses suffered by these families and our community at large are immeasurable. Their pain and suffering are a constant reminder of the violence that can shatter lives in an instant.

Thaiz’s disregard for human life and community peace is unforgivable. We cannot allow such individuals to roam free and threaten our neighborhoods.
