Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen the petition to save sky Q started by me Derek Michael O’Brien on March 26 this year has now reached 497 signatures as of today I would like to thank everyone more sincerely for signing and sharing this petition, your support is invaluable. The momentum is getting behind us every signature counts. Can I please ask you to keep signing and keep sharing? Keep the momentum up? let’s get to the next milestone and a little bit beyond it we can and will save sky Q from extinction. There is a future there for satellite TV. I am more certain of it now than ever as Manhattan has just released another box recordable et cetera and the UK market and if as everyone is saying satellite is dying in the next few years Manhattan would have not introduced this new recordable box onto the Market. In a recent post Manhattan themselves acknowledged that sky will realistically have to extend the deadline beyond 2029 at least although they haven’t officially announced this but our petition and your signatures will give them a nudge in the right direction.
