Hello there, very good evening to you Derek O’Brien here founder/coordinator of the Save sky Q campaign and petition I would like to thank those of you that have signed and shared the petition so far as of today the 17th of May I can report the petition has reached 401 signatures. Thank you so much to everyone that has given your support to this petition it means a lot to me and everyone else that likes sky Q and wants to see it retained even though I have had emails from sky themselves telling me that there’s no plans For sky Q to be wound down and I should feel somewhat reassure by these I don’t that’s why I’m keeping up the pressure and keeping this petition going right into the end of 2030 which is supposed to be the cut-off point for the service. My aim is to get so many signatures that they won’t be able to ignore the outcry and they will have to reconsider their decision sky and SES need to be convinced that while it may be a business decision on their part it affects loads of people people that rely on sky Q and will do for as long as it takes to make them see that this decision will be catastrophic. Anyway thanks again to everyone that has contributed to this petition little did I think when I started it on the 26th of March? This year that I would reach the Number of signatures that I have today 401 this has inspired me to keep pushing even further this will be successful. I am more determined than ever we can and will save sky Q there will be a future for the sky Q box
