Wow!

It is less than 24 hours since I launched the Keep Sidley Car Park FREE petition and already we're nearly at 300 signatures. 

As your local Rother District Councillors, Cllr Chowdhury and I are doing everything we can behind the scenes to stop this proposal from being approved, with support from our Labour colleagues as well as councillors from other parties. 

To really make a big impact and demonstrate there is a strength of feeling locally about this, it would be greatly appreciated if you could share this petition with your friends, neighbours and anyone you think might be affected by the changes. 

It is also vitally important that your objections are recorded in Rother's official budget 2025 consultation. These will be read directly by officers and councillors when the budget comes back to the Council and your views could make the difference when we are arguing the case in the Council chamber.
