Keep Semis and Trucks off 195th Street (Raymore, MO)

Keep Semis and Trucks off 195th Street (Raymore, MO)
The Issue
Coming Soon To 195th Street: 500 cars, semis, dumptrucks and commercial traffic: All day - every day!
An application to rezone the Raymore South Commercial development from business park to PUD was recommended for approval by the zoning board on May 17th. A preliminary plan was also recommended with the stipulation that the developer look more closely at the traffic patterns for 195th Street.
The city council will have a meeting to discuss (and vote) to approve this recommendation on Monday, May 23rd, 7pm at the City Hall. If the rezoning and plan are approved, you can look forward to 500 additional vehicles, including Semi's, dump trucks and all manner of commercial/industrial equipment on 195th street daily!
If you don't want this, please come to the town hall and let the council know. If you are not able to come to the meeting at the town hall on Monday - please sign this petition and let the city know we do NOT want this type of traffic on 195th Street.
This affects everyone who lives in or around 195th Street between Peculiar drive to the west and school road to the east (for example Whitetail Run, Stonegate, and other neighborhoods in the general area).
If you don't live nearby but live in Raymore/Belton, please support us - greater support makes our message louder and more likely that we can pressure the council to change the plan and make all commercial traffic travel inside the commercial center instead of on 195th Street.
