Jolly Property Request # RZ-2024-014

This rezoning request is for a Conservation Overlay District (COD) on approximately 178 acres in the Rural (R) zoning district north of Alabama Highway 280, and east of Stonewall Road, on the edge of the City of Auburn’s optimal growth boundary.  The COD would bypass the requirement for three acre lots in the rural zone, allowing for the creation of 59 much smaller lots on approximately one-half of the 178-acre property. 

We strongly oppose the COD and urge the City Council to deny the application for a COD on this property.
