Keep Parking In North Ayrshire Council FREE!

The Issue

Summary: North Ayrshire Council are introducing parking charges in an attempt to raise revenue.

This policy not only discourages trade and tourism to our Main Streets, it will also enforce closure to businesses in our much loved town centres and surrounding areas.

The Issue: North Ayrshire Council in order to raise money have not considered the long term cost to North Ayrshire’s economy. The imposed parking charges will result in a loss of visitors and will discourage town centre trade in favour of out of town centre retail parks with free parking.

                                                Take Action!

Every North Ayrshire resident has a right to be respected by North Ayrshire Council when they make decisions on OUR behalf!

They should be held to account at a public meeting for the lack of consultation on this matter and the bullish way it has been implemented.
