We are in danger of losing our long-serving Thornliebank Primary School crossing Lollipop Lady. She helps children and families, some of whom have prams and toddlers who attend the school nursery, cross a busy thoroughfare for commuter traffic, buses and lorries.

Our children at the primary school want the independence and freedom to cross Main Street and Orchard Park Avenue outside the school and early years centre in safety. The presence of our dedicated and well-known lollipop lady ensures that children can navigate this busy area without fear before and after school.
