As parents and community members of Union Township, strongly oppose outsourcing paraprofessional positions to outside agencies.

Paraprofessionals are essential to our children’s success. They provide consistent, daily support and build trusted relationships that help students thrive. They understand our children’s individual needs, routines, and behaviors in ways that cannot be quickly replaced.

Outsourcing these roles introduces unfamiliar staff into classrooms, disrupting stability, trust, and learning — especially for students who depend on consistency the most.

We are asking the Board of Education to:

• Retain our current paraprofessionals
• Do NOT replace them with outside agencies
• Invest in the staff who already support our children.

Our kids deserve consistency, stability, and trusted support.
