UPS Corporate is closing down our Customer Centers across the country. 

Our building has operated in San Francisco for over half a century.  We have people who have worked here for decades who have been displaced from their careers. 

We are part of our community; we're not just stores, we are centers.  Our customers choose us because we are always ready to help and because we put them first.   

People don't want to spend ages on the phone arguing with UPS's AI agent.  They want to talk to someone with the expertise and proximity to quickly resolve any issue. 

This change is not a technological advancement, it is a step backwards for workers' rights and it is an unwise compromise in the quality of service that our customers expect and deserve. 

We request that the powers that be at UPS Corporate reconsider their decision to outsource our union jobs to third-party, non-union, franchise locations.

Let us prioritize our customers' needs over our shareholders' greed.
