Hi all,

Parents and carers may have have seen an update today from the Principal of the primary school Steve McAlister (if not, check eNews). The community consultation planned for this Wednesday evening has been postponed until further notice. 

I met with Steve on Friday, and we discussed the petition and the strong views held by sections of the school community regarding the proposed uniform changes. There is now a survey available for parents and carers to provide individual feedback to the school. 

You have the option to either approve or not approve the proposed new colour palette. 

If you do not approve, you are able to indicate the reasons why, including importance of tradition, financial cost and environmental impact. 

I would encourage parents and carers who participated in the 'Keep our Colours' petition to seek out and complete the survey as soon as possible. Now is the time to have your say! 

The survey must be completed by 4:00pm on Friday 8th September.
