For the past 15 months, my team and I have poured our hearts and souls into creating a community-centered sauna experience on Widewater beach in Lancing. This wasn't just a business endeavor; it became a cherished part of the community, demonstrated by our returning customers and the many happy locals who have enjoyed our services. We've worked harmoniously with the parish council, ensuring operations met required standards, and have had no complaints until now.we have worked with the parish council closing as and when needed for works to be done on and near the site. 

Now, an issue is arising that threatens to disturb the peace and harmony we've worked so hard to build. The Parish council requires our Sauna to be towed on and off the beach each day. This isn't just logistically challenging, but also risks putting both the footpath and local people in higher jeopardy of inconvenience and disruption. It is currently no more disruptive than the beach huts next door.

The beach sauna, set against the backdrop of Lancing's stunning coastline, has become a unique asset to our community. It isn't merely about relaxation; it's a gathering place for locals to interact, heal, and enjoy our gorgeous natural surroundings. Moving it daily not only disrupts its operation but challenges the community spirit we've cultivated and causes  un needed  disruption for the surrounding nature reserve and residents.

Instead, we propose keeping the sauna in its current location for the duration of the trading week. We are committed to working with local authorities to address any specific concerns while maintaining safety and accessibility for all.
