Keep Organic Strong: Tell the USDA to Stop Clucking Around

The Issue

Use your voice to protect organic!

The Administration is threatening to weaken organic standards by eliminating widely agreed-upon protections for the treatment of animals in USDA policies.

When animals are raised right, roam more freely and are (quite frankly) allowed to be animals, we don’t need to pump them full of antibiotics, growth promotants, and other artificial junk.

Most of us already trust that when a label says “organic” it means animal care standards are in place - like space requirements and prohibitions against things like tail docking for pigs -- but with the USDA disregarding these new rules that won’t always be the case.

We are asking that Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue restore the organic animal welfare standard. Please sign and share this petition to let your voice be heard.
